Frumenty with tomato sauce


  • 200gr frumenty
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp red pepper or boukovo (chilli spice) (optional)
  • 1 tbsp salt

Ingredients for 4 servings



In a pot throw in the olive oil and the chopped onion and roast it for a while. Then add the tomato sauce and keep mixxing them with a scoop. If you like it to taste a bit hot then add the red pepper or the boukovo.

Place 1 & 1/2lt water in it and when it boils, throw in the frumenty, mix them with a scoop and boil them for 10 min.
